This wonderful trip will start from your hotel in Athens or Piraeus. On the way to Olympia you will be amazed by the modern engineering masterpiece of the Corinth Canal (Isthmus Canal) where we can have a short stop for coffee.

Then you can explore the Archaeological Museum, where many of Olympia’s greatest works of art and artifacts are displayed. Highlights of the museum include the Sculpture from the Temple of Zeus, arguably the finest surviving examples of Archaic Greek sculpture, the 5th century BC Winged Victory by Paiongs, the 4th century BC Hermes of Praxiteles and a model of the reconstructed ancient Olympia site.

Furthermore, you can visit the place where the Olympic Flame is ignited every four years for the modern Olympic Games. There you can let yourself step back in history, run and follow the footsteps of the first athletes.

Later on, you may take a stroll through the town of Olympia and soak up the modern flavor of the town. Finally, you might have an optional excursion to a local winery and sip on the varieties of wine produced there, or visit a local restaurant and have lunch with traditional food and wine, before we head back to your hotel.

Athens Corinth and Argos Tour: 

This wonderful trip will start from your hotel in Athens or Piraeus. Initially we visit the breathtaking Corinth Canal, opened in 1893, a dream of the ancient Greeks. With a length of 6.4km, actually made the whole Peloponnese looking as an island.

Later you shall visit the Acrocorinth, the Acropolis of Ancient Corinth, one of the most impressive archaeological structure of mainland Greece. Next stop will be the magnificent Temple of Apollo.

In Mycenae, a historical ancient kingdom, you can visit the main museum, the Cyclopean Walls, Lions Gate dated 13th century BC, and others. Next stop will be Nafplio, a seaport town that was the first capital of Greece. Filled with colorful buildings and houses, maintains a traditional architectural style along modern-era neoclassical buildings. There you can see or even visit a small castle, Bourtzi, that is located in the middle of Nafplio bay, and the Castle of Palamidi, built by the Venetians in 1714. You can visit the Castle of Palamidi from his 999 steps or from a road around it and at the top will give you an impressive view of the Argolic gulf. The fortifications of Acronafplia, the main museum, many temples and statues are among the city's must see.

Later, after a meal at a traditional taverna, we visit Epidaurus. There, you can visit the most known ancient theater The Great Theater of Epidaurus, with exceptional acoustics and 14.000 seats. It is a major sight, along with Epidaurus Museum, and the Temple of Asclepius, the Greek God of medicine.

After that, we shall return to Athens and we may follow a different route.

Athens Delphi Tour: 

This wonderful trip will start from your hotel in Athens or Piraeus. Delphi is the centre of the ancient Greek world.

There you can explore the ruins of the famous theatre and take a tour to the Temple of Apollo, that is dated from the 4th century BC, and are the remains of a peripheral Doric structure. The temple was erected by Spintharus, Xenodoros, and Agathon on the ruins of an earlier temple, dated to the 6th century BC.

Furthermore, you can discover the Delphi Museum and its many archaeological treasures. Finally, and most important, you can visit the Osios Loucas Monastery. It is a historic walled monastery situated near the town of Distomo, in Boeotia, Greece. It is one of the most important monuments of Middle Byzantine architecture and art, and has been listed on UNESCO's World Heritage Sites, along with the monasteries of Nea Moni and Daphne.

Coastal Tour: 

This wonderful trip will start from your hotel in Athens or Piraeus. It includes a one day tour to Marathon, Laurio and Sounio.

Marathon is a historical area, where in 490BC the Battle of Marathon took place, between the heavily outnumbered Athenian army and the Persians. Greeks won and Pheidippides, a herald at the battle, was sent running back to Athens (42.195meters) to announce the victory. That's how the Marathon race was conceived in modern times.

Lavrio is a town in southeastern part of Attica, Greece. Laurium was famous in Classical antiquity for its silver mines, which was one of the chief sources of revenue of the Athenian state. The metallic silver was mainly used for coinage. The Archaeological Museum of Lavrion shows much of the story of these mines.

Cape Sounion is the spot where Aegeus, king of Athens, leapt to his death off the cliff, thus giving his name to the Aegean Sea.

Two ancient temples were built on the Cape; the famous temple of Poseidon and a smaller temple of Athena. At its highest point, the surviving temple of Poseidon is Doric, and was built in the Pericles era, from 444 to 440 B.C. For its construction was used white marble of Agrileza area. It was built in the position of an earlier temple made of limestone. The previous temple, dating from the early 5th century, was destroyed in 480 B.C. by the Persians, before its completion. Architectural parts of the Temple of Poseidon can be seen in the Lavrio.
